WEEE & Battery Take-Back Statement

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations, customers are entitled to return their waste electrical items free of charge.

If you purchase a new electrical item from us, you can return a similar item on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis at no cost. This applies regardless of brand, as long as the item is of equivalent type.

We also accept small waste electrical items (less than 25cm in size) free of charge, with no obligation to make a purchase.

Waste electrical items can be returned to our store during normal opening hours. Please do not place WEEE in your general household waste bin. These items can contain hazardous substances and should be recycled responsibly.

Waste Batteries

Batteries must not be disposed of in general household waste. They should be recycled properly to prevent environmental damage.

We offer free in-store take-back of waste batteries, including portable batteries commonly used in bicycles and accessories. Customers can return used batteries to our store at any time, with no requirement to make a purchase.

Where applicable, batteries can be removed from devices before disposal. If you are unsure, please ask a member of staff for assistance.

Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to reducing environmental impact and supporting responsible recycling. By returning your old electrical equipment and batteries, you are helping to conserve natural resources and reduce landfill waste.
