The Giant Talon 4 is a proper first step into mountain biking, without the intimidating price tag. A lighter, redesigned ALUXX aluminium frame, an SR Suntour XCE suspension fork and Tektro disc brakes give you control when the trail gets rough.

A 1x8 microSHIFT drivetrain with a wide 12x46 cassette keeps gearing simple and covers the hills, and Maxxis Ikon tyres grip well on forest tracks and gravel. There is clearance for tyres up to 2.4 inches if you want to go bigger later, and internal routing leaves the door open for a dropper post upgrade.

Smaller frames (XS and S) use 27.5 inch wheels, while M and above use 29 inch wheels, so the fit stays natural at every height.
